Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar. During this month Muslims observe the Fast of Ramadan, fasting during the daylight hours and eating light meals in the evening. It is a time of worship and contemplation, as well as a time to strengthen family and community ties.

Valentine's Day

The roots of this tradition stem from two sources: the Roman festival of Lupercalia and the sad story of a Christian doctor named Valentine.
