Virtually all road safety programs point to drinking and driving as a principle cause of traffic accidents and deaths.

We all attend parties and celebrations where alcoholic beverages are served. Have you ever seen friends or relatives drink at parties and then get behind the wheel at the end of the evening?

  1. Lots of people drive home after drinking without having an accident. Some do not.
    Others make it home alive but manage to kill others along the way.

  1. Students in various communities have set up groups to raise community awareness.
    Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) is an organization operated by students in high schools and colleges in the United States which aims to reduce or eliminate deaths caused by alcohol-related injuries. Visit one or more of the SADD sites below for ideas on how you might help prevent alcohol-related accidents:
Have you ever driven a car under the influence?
Are you willing to get into a car driven by someone who has been drinking?
