50 Years of Pride and Glory
by Liran Chen and Oshik Kamin, Grade 11,
Amal Comprehensive School for Sciences and Arts, Hadera
Israel the holy land,
We'll be with you until the end
In words, no one can tell -
How much you we love you Israel.
You shine like a
thousand suns
And glitter like gold,
I wish I would never be blind
To see your beauty as I grow old.
I would rather be
homeless
than live in aother place,
Because, Israel,
for me you will always be the best.
So let's promise each
other,
To stay together as long as we live,
Israel, I truly do believe,
You, I will never leave.
I'll be proud to
march
In the rain and mud, in the sun and snow
Just to declare,
I'll protect my land, never will I say, no
You are so small
And yet no one can ignore your power,
Because you keep growing
from hour to hour.
Israel, I am proud to
say,
I am a small part of your glorious land.
And my great love to you,
No stranger can understand.
